Chun Ching more like Fun Ching, cuz I always have a fun time there. Really good prices on produce, and endless variety of specialty ingredients and fun snacks and home wares. It's an adventure in there. Really friendly and helpful staff and owner too. One of the spots that really makes Gainesville what it is.

The kindest, most helpful staff and they're always giving my kids little treats. Huge selection of food and housewares for an amazing price. I would literally slap a Chun Ching bumper sticker on my car. WE LOVE Y'ALL!

Great variety of items. The store seems never ending as you can continue to walk further back with more produce, meat, and packaged items. Truly great place to find what you're looking for. The daifuku - frozen mochi with red bean paste inside was just what I was looking for!

We came here looking for water. They don’t sell water, but the person we asked went into the back room and gave us two bottles! Shocked? Surprised? Flabbergasted? Not sure the correct word for how we felt at this kindness. Thank you! We felt obligated to purchase ice cream as a thank you. They have a nice selection of ice creams from Asia. We purchased a bubble tea one from Taiwan.

I really love this Asian market! The people are nice and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of Asian produce. You can find various Asian beer and I was even able to get Red horse beer here. Which is a Philippino beer. Also to be had are Japanese snacks galore with my favorite Kasugi gummies available. There is a nice fresh seafood section for you seafood lovers out there with various fish, squid and etc You can find bulk mung beans, soybeans, red beans, Red peanuts. Pretty much any Asian spice can be bought in the dry goods section which has noodles of many types. Spices galore. Honey and etc Then in the back is the answer to all of your Asian cooking needs with chopsticks and wok utensils and silverware, Asian clay barbecue pots can be purchased here as well as woven sticky rice pots and sticky rice woven envelope things (I'm not sure what they're called. However, when I was living in thailands, my friends from Lao would use those to cook sticky rice) So much for your Asian grocery needs can be found here. ❤️

Love this Asian market. It's HUGE and they had everything I was looking for and then some. They have groceries for all different styles of Asian cuisine. From Chinese to Japanese, Thai and more. Friendly staff and great prices. Will be a weekly trip.

Has ube extract and many other hard to find ingredients other places in town don't have. Nothing super fancy in terms of snacks and doesn't have as large of a snack selection as enson or other places. However, if I am going to cook dinner, this place reliably has what I need for a good price. The stock is consistent, the staff are friendly. The pre-stocked kimchi is very good.

This "little" market doesn't seem like much from the outside BUT don't let that fool you, this place is much larger on the inside and packed with so much variety. The staff is very kind and friendly, the store has some fantastic deals, and some of the best home style Kimchi. Definitely add this market to your shopping repertoire

I come here especially for these Asian seed snacks because although they aren't exactly the same as I grew up with in Hawaii, they are similar and I love them! I also like to peruse other Asian foods and ingredients for me to cook with at home depending on what I'm feeling like making.

Chun Ching Market is hands down my favorite Asian market in town. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly involved in the community—such a warm place to shop. The store has a great assortment of dry goods, fresh produce, and meats, and on certain weeks you can even find delicious roasted duck and pork, and other Asian ready made dishes/snacks. They also carry many Vietnamese fresh herbs, vegetables, and seasonings that other stores do not. Always a fantastic experience and an essential stop for authentic ingredients!
